"A year in the life," discussion of an artist's self documentary

The University of Pennsylvania's Center for Africana Studies’ Undergraduate Advisory Board (UAB), in conjunction with the Annenberg School for Communication, presents, "Class in Session," a lecture and documentary film screening covering a year in the life of with Grammy Award winning producer, artist, scholar, Harvard University Fellow, and hip hop legend, Patrick Douthit, better known as 9th Wonder (or 9thmatic).
The film follows one of soul music’s most dynamic figures from his childhood home to late nights in the studio and everywhere in between. Featuring the music of Drake, DJ Premier, DJ Green Lantern, J. Cole, Murs, Phonte, Sha Money XL, Young Guru, The Alchemist and more.
The lecture will be held at The University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication on Thursday, February 21, Room 109 from 7 to 9 p.m.
