Annenberg students deliver papers in Rome

Anneberg PhD candidates Jatin Atre, Bethany Klein, and Russell Tisinger presented parers titled "The Two Americas: Understanding The Polysemy Of Rap," "Will The Real Eminem Please Stand Up?: The Artist As Polysemic Text" and "An Artificial Divide?: The Rap Audience In America" respectively at the 13th Biennial conference of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music, in Rome, on July 26th 2005. The panel was moderated by Marco Solaroli from the University of Bolonga. The Itlaian magazine Media Zone covered the panel (see link for related article).
