Annenberg Dean Michael X. Delli Carpini, Ph.D., was interviewed for a story that appears in the August 2 edition of The New York Times. The story is about the editorial oversight board that was created after the sale of Dow Jones & Co. to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.
“I think that at least on paper, this is a good step toward building a firewall around the content of The Journal,” the Dean said in the interview. “I’d have liked to see more experience on the news side, in addition to the editorial side, but we’ll just have to wait and see what its impact will be.”
