The Annenberg School for Communication was the site for an installment of Dan Rather Reports, the HDNet cable television show hosted by television newsman Dan Rather. In this segment, which was videotaped July 18 in Room 500 of the Annenberg School building, host Dan Rather moderated a conversation with guests on the future of network news broadcasts. The panelists included former ABC News “Nightline” host Ted Koppel; Michael X. Delli Carpini, Ph.D., the Walter H. Annenberg Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication; and Diana Mutz, Ph.D., the Samuel A. Stauffer Professor of Communication and Political Science. The audience comprised Annenberg faculty, students, staff, and alumni. The episode, which aired on August 7, is available for viewing on the Annenberg web site by following the link above.
