Klaus Krippendorff, the Gregory Bateson Professor of Communication was a keynote speaker at The Second International Conference on DESIGN PRINCIPLES & Practices, January 9-11, 2008, at the University of Miami Conference Center, Florida.
His talk addressed communication principles for human-centered design: cultural contingencies, interactive forms of meanings, sensory-motor co-ordinations, interfaces, second-order understanding, language games in design practices, methodology, design discourse, and the recursive practice of redesigning design.
