Katz’ Media Events Published in Poland

Media Events: The Live Broadcasting of History by Daniel Dayan and Elihu Katz has been published in Poland by Publisher Muza SA. Dr. Katz is the Distinguished Trustee Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication in the University of Pennsylvania.
Media Events, originally published in 1992 by Harvard University Press, has been described by National Public Radio as “a feat of scholarship about a medium that tends to defy scholarship. It is a comprehensive, thoughtful, and original delineation of a phenomenon of live television as a powerful social force.”
Its publication in Polish marks the seventh language translation for the book.
