Amy Jordan, Ph.D., director of the Media and the Developing Child Sector at the Annenberg Public Policy Center, has published an “op ed” in the June 25 edition of The Chicago Tribune. The column, “Why do dirty words irk regulators when violence files under the radar,” contrasts society’s reaction to profanity versus violence in the media.
