(Gr ’91), Ph.D., from the University of Texas; and Melani McAlister, Ph.D., from the George Washington University will be the panelists for a discussion of U.S. media portrayals of Arabs and the Arab world on Monday, February 28 at noon in Stiteler Hall (Room B26). Prof. Wilkins was the
2009 speaker for the George Gerbner Lecture in Communication
, and Prof. McAlister is a former visiting scholar in the Annenberg Scholars Program in Culture and Communication.
