Thank you for your interest in graduate study at the Annenberg School for Communication
at the University of Pennsylvania. Founded through the generosity and vision of
publisher, diplomat and philanthropist Walter Annenberg, the Annenberg School is
devoted to furthering our understanding of the role of communication in public life
through research, education, and service. This mission is clearly evident in
the fact that we fully fund all of our students with a stipend, health insurance

We educate our students in the theories, substance, and methods of communication
research and position them to enter leading academic and professional positions.
Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and undergraduate
majors, and they share a strong interest in communication topics, conducting research,
