NOIZE POLLUTION MUSIC MARKETING
Street Marketing Rep Internship.
Noize Pollution is a new independent music marketing company that promotes artists for a variety of major and independent record labels. We specialize in tour and lifestyle marketing for alternative/rock/electronic artists. This is accomplished through intensive target marketing around events such as tour dates, album releases and/or airplay. The most critical aspect of this type of marketing is our Street Marketing Interns. Their hard work and knowledge of the market can be instrumental in the development of artists' careers. We currently have around 300 Street Marketing Reps around the country working on artists from a variety of labels including Warner Brothers (including Kinetic), Interscope (Including Nothing), Trauma, Sire, Island, Revolution, Capital and Geffen/Outpost.
Noize Pollution promotes all types of artists ranging from new and developing artists to established artists. We are primarily hired by record companies, but we also work for music publishing companies and lifestyle companies (ie. Surf companies, video game companies).
The goal of the Street Rep Intern is to create and increase awareness of an artist in their market by targeting music retail stores, lifestyle stores, colleges and local venues. Reps learn about how bands are marketed through touring, airplay (both commercial and college) and around album releases. Reps can expect to work around 10-15 hours/week. College credit depends on the requirements for credit in individual departments and schools.
Reps can get free CDs, tickets to concerts (when available), etc. Reps also make music industry contacts for future jobs. Reps are paid on a project by project basis.

USA NETWORKS, INC.
INTERNSHIPS in Corporate Communications - Full Time
The Corporate Communications Intern will get a chance to be a part of a growing media company, helping to send out major press releases, field calls from reporters on timely deadlines, create press kits for both our parent company, USA Networks Inc., and our subsidiaries, (USA Networks, USA Broadcasting, USA Studios, Home Shopping Network and others), as well as participate in a growing number of research projects requested by some of our top level executives. The intern should have an interest in not only the field of Public Relations, but also in the more general fields of business, new media and entertainment, and should appreciate the learning experience integral to working in a quick-paced environment.
