Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any limitations on what I can bring to the ceremony?

Yes. The University has a list of prohibited items for its Franklin Field Commencement, and Annenberg’s event will follow these guidelines as well. In addition, please do not bring helium balloons, as these can set off the smoke alarms. A complimentary bag check will be available at the door.

How long should faculty and graduate speeches be?

Faculty advisors will have one to two minutes to introduce their graduate, and graduates will have up to three minutes to make their remarks. Please note that due to the large number of graduates, we will be strictly enforcing this time.

How do I wear my regalia?
