This past summer, Professor Barbie Zelizer took a group of students to Tokyo, Japan for a two-week immersion experience. The theme of this trip was Japan: A Nation of Conflicting Images and Realities and the program was hosted by Kaori Hayashi and took place at the University of Tokyo. Professor Carlin Romano also accompanied the group.

At this event, students Katerina Girginova, Kecheng Fang, Leah Ferentinos, Elisabetta Ferrari, Nour Halabi, Samantha Oliver, Aaron Shapiro and John Vilanova and will recount their experiences and present their research from SummerCulture 2016 - Tokyo.
