Alumna Maggie Williams Receives Woman of Distinction Honor

Margaret (Maggie) Williams (ASC ’92) is one of six recipients of the Woman of Distinction Award from the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders. Ms. Williams, who recently helped run the historic presidential campaign for Hillary Clinton, will receive the award on May 31 during an event at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.   Other recipients of the honor are Noorjahan Akbar, co-founder of Young Women for Change; Alison Cohen, president of Alta Bicycle Share; Liza Donnelly, a cartoonist and writer for The New Yorker; Sandra Fluke, women’s health care advocate and Georgetown University law student; and Michel Martin, host of the National Public Radio program Tell Me More.
