Annenberg's John B. Jemmott III is a top 10 federal grant recipient

John B. Jemmott III, Ph.D., the Kenneth B. Clark Professor of Communication at Annenberg and a Professor of Communication in Psychiatry and Director of the Center for Health Behavior and Communication Research, Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, was identified as one of the 10 researchers whose work into HIV/AIDS education received the most investigator-initiated (R01) grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (fiscal year 2007). The finding was reported in the July 25 issue of Science magazine.

“I know I did not achieve this by my own efforts alone, and I want thank my colleagues for their contributions to our success in receiving NIH grant funding, especially in a tough funding environment,” Dr. Jemmott said.
