Klaus Krippendorff received the 2004 ICA Fellows Book Award for his Content Analysis: An Introduction to Its Methodology.
The ICA Fellows Book Award recognizes books that have made a substantial contribution to communication scholarship as well as to the social sciences and withstood the test of time. It is given only occasionally.
The book has been published for 23 years and a second edition was released in 2004.
Dr. Krippendorff also presented a paper at the conference titled "Embodying Information Theory," in which he attempts to measure the size of cyberspace and develop a human-centered conception in information.
