Kraidy Discusses Egyptian Uprising During Penn Nursing Panel

Marwan M. Kraidy, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Communication, will discuss “Background to Egypt’s Popular Uprising of 2011” during a February 22 panel at Claire M. Fagin Hall Auditorium, 418 Curie Boulevard, Philadelphia. The panel, which will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m., is a part of Penn Nursing’s Global Health Reflections Week. Other panelists include Harvey Rubin, MD, Ph.D., Director of Penn’s Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response (ISTAR), and Associate Dean for Student Affairs in the School of Medicine. Dr. Rubin’s topic of discussion will be “Health Implications of Mass Uprisings.” Also on the panel will be Eileen Sullivan-Marx, Ph.D., CRNP, RN, FAAN, Associate Professor for Scholarly Practice & Associate Dean for Practice and Community Affairs, School of Nursing.
