ASC Professor John B. Jemmott III published a commentary titled "A Setback for AIDS Fight" in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Article abstract: South Africa has the largest number of people living with HIV/AIDS in the world. Tragically, 6.5 million South Africans - one in five adults - now are infected. It is estimated that more than half of South Africans under the age of 15 today will die of AIDS within the next decade. An entire generation - one that has grown up free of apartheid - now faces terrible odds of survival.
