Turow Discusses Emerging Retail Environment With British Journal

Professor Joseph Turow was interviewed by Business of Fashion journal recently for a story about the emerging retail environment, where personalized pricing based on data mined from online sources is slowly coming into practice.

“Everybody’s talking about this,” [he said]. “They may be talking about it more than they are implementing yet … but the general notion is that the way to make money online is to target people with different prices based upon their proclivities, based upon their interests.”
