Eric Forbush is a doctoral student at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. He specializes in intergroup communication, computational social science, and Japanese culture. Forbush's primary research methods include network based online experiments, population based survey experiments, and agent-based modeling. Current topics under investigation include misinformation, affective polarization, and the spread of (in)civility in online political discussions.
