The role of the Alumni Advisory Board is to provide informal counsel to the Annenberg School for Communication’s dean regarding the School’s teaching, research, and service missions, and to maintain and expand connections among the Annenberg community. The Board is composed of highly respected media and communication scholars and practitioners, most of whom are alumni of Annenberg’s M.A.C. and Ph.D. programs.
The University Library that Benjamin Franklin founded - one of the first in the country - is the only Penn institution to have been in continuous operation since 1750. Today, the Penn Libraries and their staff play a critical role in the ecology of teaching and learning, connecting people with vitally important information; binding together networks of scholars.
