Alisa A. Padon, Ph.D.
In her research, Padon focuses on the intersection of sociocultural institutions and neurocognitive biases to predict health behavior. Her current work centers on the relationship between the content of marketing, media exposure and youth consumption of alcohol and tobacco products. Padon received her Ph.D. in public health from Johns Hopkins University, has an MBE in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in psychology from the Catholic University of America. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Padon worked as a senior IRB analyst at the University of Pennsylvania and an adjunct professor of medical bioethics at Camden County College.
