I am currently an Assistant Professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University, School of Communication. I completed my doctoral degree at Marmara University, Institute of Social Science and undergraduate studies at Istanbul Commerce University. I was visiting fellow in Digital Media, Networks & Political Communication (DiMeNet) research group that was led by Dr. Sandra González-Bailón at University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) and Social Media & Political Participation (SMaPP) research group that was led by Dr. Joshua Tucker at New York University (NYU). In 2018-2019, I worked as an Assistant Professor at SOL International School, Global Media & Communication Arts department at Woosong University, South Korea.
My areas of academic research interests lie at the intersection of collective actions, political participation, data mining and network sciences. |
