Isabelle Langrock is a doctoral student at the Annenberg School for Communication where she studies digital forms of collaboration and the production of knowledge. She approaches her research with an emphasis on materiality and accessibility; focusing on groups who are often underrepresented or excluded from social platforms.
Prior to Annenberg, Langrock spent several years at Girls Who Code, a nonprofit confronting the gender gap in the tech sector by teaching girls and young women computer science. She received her B.A. in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine (HiPSS) from the University of Chicago.
