Annabelle Sreberny Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Global Media Studies
Annabelle Sreberny Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Global Media Studies is a short-term residency program intended for Ph.D. candidates from institutions other than the University of Pennsylvania whose research examines global media. We particularly welcome applicants with projects that align with current CARGC research themes.
Annabelle Sreberny Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Global Media Studies, announced at the inaugural CARGC Annabelle Sreberny Distinguished Lecture, is our initiative to bring a Ph.D. candidate doing research on global media to CARGC for a short-term residency program. The pre-doctoral fellow will stay in residence at CARGC for three weeks during the month of September. They will be provided with workspace, a temporary Penn ID, library access, and receive a 2,000 USD allowance for travel and incidental expenses. Please note that it may be possible to extend the length of the residency to a full semester if the fellow has external funding to support a longer stay.
