Spring 2021 Staff Information
In response to guidelines issued by the state and the University of Pennsylvania aimed at ensuring the health and safety of our school community, Annenberg buildings will operate under strict protocols in Spring 2021, and all non-essential workers will continue to work remotely.
Staff who are not deemed essential may request permission to access the building by emailing BuildingAccessComm@asc.upenn.edu. Please note that requests will require justification and supervisor approval must be obtained. In an effort to keep the number of people in the building at any one time as low as possible, visits must be scheduled in advance and no full-time access will be permitted.
If granted building access, please note that the use of PennOpen Pass is required for entry into all campus buildings. A green “CLEARED” Penn COVID Day Pass must be presented and viewed by building security upon each visit in order to be allowed entry. In addition, proper social distancing protocols must be followed, and masks must be worn at all times. Building access will be granted to the requesting staff member only, not to any accompanying family or friends.
In addition, any staff member who will regularly be on campus for four or more hours each week throughout the entire semester must be tested once per week. Those who meet the testing criteria must enroll in Penn's testing program by January 18 using the online scheduling application. You can find more information about the university’s testing program on the Penn COVID-19 Response website. If you have any questions about the Penn Cares testing program, please email Donna Burdumy, Annenberg School Director of Human Resources.
If You Are Sick
In accordance with current guidelines, if you are feeling unwell, seek medical guidance. If you are unable to work due to COVID-19 illness, please email your supervisor and ASC-HR@asc.upenn.edu.
