The Annenberg School for Communications (ASC) of the University of Pennsylvania, in partnership with the Penn Center on Media, Technology, and Democracy (Penn MEDIATED), invites applications for two open postdoctoral researcher positions. Knight Postdoctoral Fellows are intended to be computational social scientists with a background in communication, information or network science, computer science, political science or a relevant discipline. Strong applicants will have expertise and interest in analyzing media content longitudinally and at scale—part of the position will be dedicated to creating durable data infrastructure so that it can persist and be used broadly by the Penn MEDIATED scholarly community. Applications are due by January 10th, 2027. Applicants must apply to work primarily with at least one, and are strongly encouraged to apply to work with two Penn MEDIATED faculty at the Annenberg School.
