Our research addresses some of the most urgent challenges of our time — from global public health to misinformation, from media production to social justice — and anticipates those on the horizon. We pursue this work not in isolation, but in trustworthy collaboration, with communities and peers locally and around the world.
Research that listens, collaborates, and connects
We partner with community groups to co-create research that reflects lived experiences and local needs. We engage with scholars across the globe to exchange ideas, build knowledge, and expand the impact of our work. We inform policy by offering evidence-based recommendations to lawmakers, administrators, and industry leaders. And we share our findings through accessible, multimodal formats — reaching journalists, voters, healthcare workers, social media users, and others who can put knowledge into action.
Our research listens, collaborates, and connects — laying the groundwork for a more informed, equitable, and resilient global society.
Investing in communities of practice
We are investing in communities of practice that span roles, disciplines, and institutions. We embrace diverse methods and perspectives, engage in cross-institutional collaborations, and cultivate a culture where everyone — faculty, staff, students, and alumni — plays a role in advancing knowledge for the public good. And we are working with practitioners of all types, including medical personnel, journalists, teachers, and lawmakers, to produce better and more impactful research.
