Lluís Danús, a postdoctoral researcher at the Annenberg School for Communication and member of the Center for Information Networks and Democracy, specializes in computational social science, exploring inequalities in social interactions and the potential impact of AI.

With a background in network science, his research interests encompass a broad spectrum within the field of computational social science, with a focus on how inequalities manifest in various aspects of social and digital interactions and how new technological paradigms, such as the emergence of AI, might influence these interactions.

Prior to his affiliation with CIND, he earned his Ph.D. in Complex Systems from Rovira i Virgili University. His doctoral thesis examined how geographical, gender, and socioeconomic biases influence the establishment of different social and collaboration network structures among scientists, and how these structures impact the subjects and the overall impact of research.
