Are you anxious? Stressed? Worried? Scared?

We are looking for Black identified Columbia students to participate in a research study on feelings of emotional distress.

We are hosting an online platform called IESO, where you can discuss the stressful events of this year anonymously with peers. Simply make an account and feel free to post about anything you’re feeling and comment to support your peers as well.

Joining IESO will help further research on developing computational systems for sensitive understanding of online emotions. You can download our information sheet here.

This is a research opportunity for Black identified students from Columbia University. Participating in our study will help us achieve a more sensitive understanding of emotional reactions to events and improve existing computational models of emotions to be more sensitive to the needs of Black users. Sign up for IESO now and start posting!
