In this video, doctoral student Kate Okker-Edging talks about her research in the area of health communication and mental health. In particular she is interested in how communication technologies like 988 and mental health chatbots impact everyone, but particularly marginalized populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color. At Annenberg, Okker-Edging is a member of the Health Communication & Equity Lab.
