Comm Major Graduation Ceremony Day!

While there is no formal dress code, please be aware that you’ll be seated on stage and everyone will be taking photographs. 

  • 9:45am – Students receiving awards should arrive at the Zellerbach Theater.
  • 10:00am – All other graduating students should arrive at the Zellerbach Theater and take their assigned seat on stage. All graduates will be seated alphabetically (look for the seat with your name card on it) and it is vital that you NOT switch seats. Guests may also begin arriving at this time.
  • 10:30am – The ceremony begins.
  • 11:30am – The ceremony ends and it's party time! Exit the Zellerbach Theater at the Main Entrance (located at the Annenberg Courtyard). Head to the graduation reception hosted at the Annenberg Public Policy Center (APPC). Students and guests should enter the building’s main doors on 36th Street to ensure they receive their graduation certificate and gift. Food and some indoor seating will be available inside APPC. Additional outdoor seating will be available.
