Hanna E. Morris researches media, culture, and climate change. Morris is an Appointed Member on the Board of Directors for the International Environmental Communication Association. She completed her Master’s of Science in Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2016) and Bachelor’s of Science in Society & Environment with a minor in History at the University of California, Berkeley (2015). 

Morris is the proud recipient of several research honors and awards, including:

Top Student Paper Award, Visual Communication Studies Division, International Communication Association (2019)

New Directions for Climate Communication Research Fellowship, International Association for Media and Communication Research and International Environmental Communication Association (2017)

Melis Medal for Most Outstanding Honors Research Thesis and Presentation, Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management, College of Natural Resources, University of California—Berkeley (2014)

Hanna E. Morris is a doctoral candidate at the Annenberg School for Communication with a research focus in environmental communication.
