TO BE INVISIBLE was produced by journalist, filmmaker, and UC Berkeley graduate student Myah Overstreet.

The film, which premiered at the Sundance Festival this year and is scheduled for release on The New Yorker Documentary site in late 2024, chronicles the struggles of two young Black mothers as they try to regain custody of their children following CPS removal of the children from their homes. It provides a critical and illuminating analysis of the family policing system by using actual accounts from Black families.
