Anton Elias Holt uses computational methods to study information disorders on social media. His current work uses network analysis and natural language processing to identify inauthentic engagement with AI-generated content on Facebook.

Anton Elias Holt is a visiting scholar from the Department of Media and Journalism Studies at Aarhus University, Denmark. His work investigates information disorders on social media, with a particular focus on the European region. Through primarily quantitative methods, his dissertation examines how problematic content has evolved over time in relation to offline events, changes in moderation practices, and technological advancements. During his time at Annenberg, he will explore the emerging challenges posed by AI-generated content using network analysis and natural language processing.
